Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water treatment method achieving the simplification of control while ensuring necessary and sufficient ion adsorbing power by using a thermal regeneration type ion exchange resin in the softening of raw water containing a hardness component.
CONSTITUTION: Raw water containing a hardness component in an amt. of 10-100ppm is passed through a resin cylinder 4 packed with a thermal regeneration type ion exchange resin to remove the hadness component by adsorption and hot water is passed through the resin cylinder 4 to regenerate the thermal regeneration type ion exchange resin.
