Abstract:

To maximally avoid abrading of a rolling body for constituting a constant velocity universal joint.

A needle bearing 32 functioning as the rolling body has a body part 36 of an equal diameter and bottom surfaces 38 and 38 formed as a flat surface. A tapered diametrically contracting part 42 and a chamfering part 40 are interposed up to reaching the bottom surfaces 38 from the body part 36, and first of all, a diameter is gently contracted by the tapered diametrically contracting part 42, and next, the diameter is relatively sharply contracted by the chamfering part 40. Thus, in the mutual adjacent needle bearings 32, the mutual tapered diametrically contracting parts 42 are separated.
