Title:
TRIANGULAR HOLE WOOD SCREW AND TRIANGULAR SCREWDRIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1130215
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any damage to a wood screw groove, and also to make a job for clamping and unclamping performable with certainty by installing an equilateral triangular hole, whose bottom face is flatwise, in the head of a wood screw, and using a triangular screwdriver where a metal shaft has the section of an equilateral triangle as a whole. SOLUTION: An equilateral triangular hole 2 whose bottom face is flatwise is installed in a head part 1 of a wood screw. Then, the wood screw is clamped or unclamped by a triangular screwdriver 3 where a metal shaft 4 has the section of an equilateral triangle on the whole. Since this triangle has strength being hard to be deformed to pressure from the outside so as to be used for a diagonal brace and a crossbeam or the like for a building and a house, this triangular hole wood screw with the strength will not damage the hole by reason of using the triangular screwdriver 3. When this driver is used, the driver 3 is inserted into the equilateral triangular hole 2, whose bottom face is flatwise, of the head 1 of the wood screw, and it is rotated as being forcibly pressed, whereby there is no case of damaging the hole 2, and thus the wood screw is made possible to be tightened or loosened with certainly.
