Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce target directional errors, especially a bearing-tracking error by accurately estimating a directional tracking error which occurs as following the delay of a servo control system and a residual error of step track, improving the quality of an error signal for controlling an Az-axis and controlling the Az-axis by using an error signal whose quality is improved.
SOLUTION: A parabolic antenna 16 is supported on a traveling body 26, which pitches and rolls such as a ship with a mount that has an Az-axis 10, an X-axis 12 and a Y-axis 14. A triaxial arithmetic control circuit 40 generates error signals for controls Δ&phiv xtd, Δθx and Δθy with roll rddet, pitch pddet, traveling body bearing &phiv g from rolling and pitching detectors 54 and 56, various navigation instruments and compass or the like which are mounted on the body 26, a receiving signal level and a synchronization detection signal. In particular, it generates an Az-error signal Δ&phiv xtd, based on the bearing &phiv g. This enables executing good tracking, even under a realistic environment in which the relative bearing of a target fluctuates dynamically and to improve a target tracking error.
