Abstract:

To provide a lightweight triaxial woven fabric having high elasticity and high thermal conductivity by using pitch carbon fibers.

Pitch carbon fibers with tensile elasticity(TE) of 35t/ mm2≤TE≤60t/mm2, tensile strength of 300kg/mm2, tensile elongation at break of ≥0.6%, fiber diameter of ≤7.0μm and thermal conductivity of ≥80W/mK are used to produce lightweight triaxial woven fabric constituted with fiber boundles having fiber fineness of 40g/km≤FF≤75g/km. This woven fabric can be used in a monolayer structure and the production process is simplified. Consequently, it can be used as a honeycomb panel skin material of light weight, high rigidity and high thermal conductivity with no anxiety of interlaminar separation.
