Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having excellent choline esterase inhibitory activity and monoamine intake inhibitory activity, thus useful as a prophylactic/ therapeutic agent for senile dementia.
SOLUTION: This compound (a salt thereof) is shown by the formula [Ar is a tricyclic condensed benzene ring group formed by condensing at least one heterocyclic ring and optionally has substituent (s); n is an integer of 2-10; R1 is H or a (substituted) hydrocarbon group; and Y is a (substituted) 4- piperidinyl, (substituted) 1-piperazinyl or (substituted) 4-benxyl-1-piperidinyl]. The other objective method for producing the above compound (salt) and an agent comprising the above compound (salt) are also provided, respectively.
