Title:
TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3161099
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a temperature distribution measuring instrument to measure the temperature distribution in continuous spaces and, at the same time, to reduce the sizes of its motor and sensor and the cost of the motor by providing an infrared array sensor, chopping means, and sensor rotating means.
CONSTITUTION: When a motor 4 is driven in a state where the longer-axis direction of an array sensor 1 is set in the longitudinal direction, a chopper 6 is continuously rotated and continuously blocks infrared rays made incident on an infrared lens 2. As a result, the longitudinal distribution of radiant heat quantities, namely, longitudinal temperature distribution on the front side of the lens 2 can be measured. The extent of the measuring space varies depending upon the face angle of the lens 2 and the size of the sensor 1. Since a sensor circuit 3 is also rotated at a speed of 1/41, at the same time, the temperature distribution on the next surface is measured by driving the chopper 6 while the rotating section 3 is advanced and rotated to make scanning on the front side of the sensor 1 and lens 2. After measurement, the two-dimensional inverted temperature distribution in the space is obtained by connecting the longitudinal temperature distribution in each direction by processing electric signals.
