PURPOSE: To obtain a trim material contriving reduction of price without requiring needle punching respectively for upper and lower layer webs and useful for floor laying carpet, or the like, in automobiles by superposing an upper layer web and a lower layer web and confounding them by needle punching.

CONSTITUTION: This trim material is obtained by superposing an upper layer web and a lower layer web and confounding the upper layer web with the lower layer web by needle punching. Preferably, e.g. polyester fibers having 100-300 g/m2 unit weight (metsuke) are used for the upper layer web and mixed fibers such as polypropylene fibers mixed with polyester fibers and having 100-1,000 g/m2 unit weight (metsuke) are used for the lower layer web.
