PURPOSE: To provide a trimming device which can trims a non-article part of a periphery of a work and cut in plural numbers of scrap pieces.

CONSTITUTION: A trimming upper die is descended, cuts off a non-article part of a periphery of a work together with a lower die 6 and makes it a scrap 3, at a same time, a driver cam 20 is made descend, a slide cam 14 is pressurized and advanced from an initial position (2-dotted chain line) 141 to a scrap cutting position (solid line) 14, a scrap cutter upper die 21 fixed on the trimming upper die is descended, and the scrap is cut to plural numbers of pieces together with the cutter lower die 17. When the upper die is made ascend after cutting the scrap, the driver cam 20 is ascended, the slide cam is retired and returned to the initial position with a spring 18. Due to the retiring of the scrap cam, an interval of the scrap cutter lower die and a cutter lower die not shown in a drawing is made large and so the scrap piece 5 is surely dropped in a scrap shute 22.
