PURPOSE: To improve the operability for a user by providing an adjusting means variably setting the angle and direction of a bit and a connecting means of an attachment on a trimming power tool capable of freely interchanging the base attachment.
CONSTITUTION: The field coil 2 of this power tool is extended near an armature along the longitudinal center axis of a motor housing 1. A drive shaft penetrating a support housing 7 from the armature 3 is protruded from the opening of the bottom section end of the support housing 7. A ball bearing 5 rotatably supports the drive shaft. A collet nut 34 is fitted to a collet 33 to receive a bit. A tapered face drive pulley is screwed to the end section of the drive shaft and is used together with an offset base attachment. Individual base attachments are interchangeable and used for the same motor assembly.
