PURPOSE: To obtain a trioxane composition useful as a moth-proofing agent for clothes having high moth-proofing effect, by combining trioxane with an adjuvant such as methyl cinnamate, methyl carbamate, benzophenone or sulfolene.
CONSTITUTION: The active component of the objective trioxane composition is a combination of trioxane and at least one kind of adjuvant selected from methyl cinnamate, methyl carbamate, methyl carbazate, methyl (d,l)-mandelate, methyl p-oxybenzoate, methyl acetylsalicylate, dimethyl fumarate, -caprolactone, hydantoin, benzoin, pentaerythriol, thymol, indole, eugenol, etc. The content of the adjuvant is preferably 50W90wt.% based on the whole composition. The ignition point of the trioxane composition can be raised compared with the pure trioxane and the trioxane composition can be easily stored and handled without causing health injury and environmental pollution.
