This compound is prepared, for example, by adding decalin to a mixture of 2,4,4,4-tetraiodotriphenylamine, carbazole, potassium carbonate and metallic copper powder and allowing them to react with one another in a nitrogen gas flow at 170° for 25 hours under vigorous agitation.
