Title:
TRIPHENYLAMINE DERIVATIVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10330361
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a new compound that has optical and electronic functions and can stably form this film in no need of any thin layer-forming agent as a binder resin.

This compound is represented by formula I (R1 to R3 are each an N-containing heterocyclic ring binding through N atoms to substituted phenyl group; R4 to R6 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, a halogen) or its salt, typically 2,4,4,4- tetra(N-phenoxazyl)triphenylamine or its salt. This compound is prepared, for example, by adding decalin to a mixture of 2,4,4,4-tetraiodotriphenylamine, carbazole, potassium carbonate and metallic copper powder and allowing them to react with one another in a nitrogen gas flow at 170° for 25 hours under vigorous agitation.
