To provide a dye compound for black ink having high solubility to a medium containing water as a main component, being stable even in the case of storing in the form of a high-concentration aqueous solution or ink for a long term, giving a printed image having very high density, free from bronzing trouble of even an image printed with a high-concentration solution and giving a black recorded image having high fastness, especially light resistance and ozone resistance of the printed image, and to provide an ink composition of the black dye compound.
