PURPOSE: To improve the volume efficiency of pump under low speed region by bringing the interteeth chamber into confined state thereby producing the function of leaked oil.
CONSTITUTION: A set of internal tooth rotor 4 and an external inner rotor 5 for performing trochoidal gearing are provided. A pump operating chamber or an inter teeth chamber 9 is formed between the internal and external teeth. It is constructed such that said chamber 9 will rotate by predetermined angle θ under confined state after being interrupted from the suction port 6 thereafter open toward the delivery port 7. Consequently, oil of such amount as corresponding with the reduced volume of said chamber 9 under confined state will leak between the side clearance, thus to reduce oil leak from the delivery port 7 to the suction port 6.
