To provide orthopedic shoes and ordinary shoes, which include a support function for both longitudinal and horizontal arches, preventing the collapse of the longitudinal arch causing flat foot and the collapse of the horizontal arch causing spreadfeet and hallux valgus, and further with which blood circulation of a foot can be maintained excellent, and a body is not injured because of the shoes and health is promoted by walking with the shoes since the shoes eliminate and ameliorate foot pain.

In the shoe, a thumb base 5, a little finger base 6 and a heel part 7 of a middle base 3 are formed to be lower than the other parts, and there is provided an insole 4 of an inside base type formed of an elastic sheet having a cushion property on the upper side of a middle base 3. Since the thumb base 5, the little finger base 6 and the heel part 7 of the middle base 3 are formed to be lower than the other parts, the foot is not compressed as in a foot in a shoe having an arch support function by placing a protruded pad in an insole. With the insole 4 of an inside base type having elasticity, the body weight can be uniformly distributed to the whole of the sole of the foot and the body weight is supported by over the whole sole of the foot.
