To house cables in a single multipurpose underground conduit for electric wire, when a power cable and a communication cable are buried, for example, in a narrow pedestrian walkway or a road section.
There are provided a trough body 1 in which the interior is partitioned into a power cable housing part S1 and a communication cable housing part S2 via a barrier wall 11, and a lid 2 which is capped over the trough body 1. The trough body 1 and the lid 2 are made of a recycled resin material in which wasted plastic and fly ash are blended. The trough body 1 includes at least either a first connection means 3, which connects a male engagement part 6 formed at one end part linearly or in bent shape, in plan view, to a female engagement part 5 formed at the other end part of the other trough body 1, arranged adjacently by direct engagement of female and male, or a second connection means which connects the female engagement part 5, formed at one end part to the female engagement part 5 formed at the other end part of the other trough body 1 arranged adjacently by using a joint member.
