To provide nursing trousers not using an opening or closing member, such as a hook-and-loop fastener or a slide fastener, which gives an unpleasant touch to the skin of a patient or an aged person, and enabling the easy exchange of a diaper in a state that the patient or the aged person sits down.

This nursing trousers are obtained by forming a laterally long cylinder whose both ends are opened and which does not have a seam in the lower end edge, forming a notch 3 at the upper lateral center of the cylinder, opening the notch 3 to form an opening around a waist, disposing flank positions above the crotch at positions somewhat rear from both the sides of the opening around the waist, sewing front and rear belt-like rectangular cloths above the crotch on the front and rear portions, respectively, between the flank positions, and forming free cloth pieces extended from the flank positions at least on the rear belt-like rectangular cloth. A pocket may be disposed on the belt-like rectangular cloth.
