Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for cap tread of a truck and bus tire, which can improve fuel economy, wear resistance, rubber strength, and wet grip performance in a well balanced manner, and a truck and bus tire using the composition.SOLUTION: The truck and bus tire includes a cap tread composed of the following rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises a rubber component and silica. In the composition, a content of a specific conjugated diene polymer is 5 mass% or more in 100 mass% of the rubber component, and a content of the silica is 5 to 150 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
