Abstract:
To provide a truck frame structure capable of reducing the weight and enhancing the quality thereof.
A transverse beam 20 is constituted of a hollow member. The transverse beam 20 has integrated flanges 22, 23. An aluminum-forged equipment mounting and receiving member 40 is joined with the flanges 22, 23 by the friction stirring and joining method. Since a root of the equipment mounting and receiving member where high stresses are exerted can be formed of a base material, and a stock of the truck frame can be formed of aluminum, the weight of the truck frame can be reduced. Further, since the welding amount is reduced, the quality of the truck frame can be enhanced.
