Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately read the number of a carrying vehicle without reference to whether the carrying vehicle travels or stops at a station by fitting a linear scale to the reaction plate of a truck and reading it by a vehicle number information read circuit. CONSTITUTION:Linear scales 30 and 31 which indicate vehicle number information by arraying plural bars in parallel are fitted to side parts of trucks 5 of the magnetically levitated conveyance device in the travel direction of the trucks and a detector which reads the vehicle number information on the linear scales 30 and 31 is provided at each ground station. The linear scales 30 and 31 are read by the vehicle number information read detector. In such a case, the information itself of the linear scales 30 and 31 indicates the vehicle number. Consequently, the vehicle number can be detected without reference to whether the truck 5 stops at a station or passes the station.
