Title:
TRUCK WITH MAGNETIC WHEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3428667
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a truck movable to a desired position while keeping a direction of the truck unchangeable by providing the truck with a wheel unit of a pair of two wheels each consisting of a swash plate having an inclination surface inclined at a designated angle with a rotary shaft and a magnetic wheel rotating around a shaft vertical to the inclination surface in parallel with the inclination surface.
CONSTITUTION: An annulus ring inclined at angle θ with a vertical line of a swash plate 8 is provided on an upper surface of the swash plate 8, a swash plate bearing 9 is provided between the inside of the ring and a swash plate rotary shaft 10, and a gear 10 is formed on the outside of the annulus ring and meshed with a driving gear 12 driven by a swash plate driving motor 13. Respective magnetic wheels 1 are arranged symmetrically in a pair and reversely rotated to each other to perform forward and backward movement. Contact points between the magnetic wheels 1 and a running surface are shown by a dot in Fig. A position of the contact point can be arbitrarily set by rotating the swash plate 8. In the case of changing the running direction without changing the direction of the truck, the contact points of the right and left magnetic wheels 1 with the running surface are set so that their angle αis made equal but in the direction reverse to each other.
