PURPOSE: To prevent baggages from shaking without impairing the housing performance of a trunk room for dirty articles by providing a cover member which can be superposed on a trunk mat body at one end side of the trunk mat body comprising the upper face of a hard board covered with a water repellent sheet.

CONSTITUTION: The trunk mat body 2 of a trunk mat 1 comprises a hard board 3 nipped from both sides with the upper face of the hard board 3 covered with a vinyl chloride sheet 4 being a water repellent sheet and the lower face of the hard board 3 covered with non-woven fabric 5. In addition, the vinyl chloride sheet 4 and the non-woven fabric 5 are heat fused to each other for fixing. A cover member made of the non-woven fabric 5 is fitted to the end edge 2a of the trunk mat 2 so that the cover member 6 can be superposed on and peeled off from the trunk mat body 2 in the arrow direction using the end edge 2a as a fulcrum. This constitution prevents baggages from shaking without impairing the housing performance of a trunk room for dirty articles.
