Abstract:
To provide a trunk-through seat for an automobile that permits the use of an armrest and has good appearance even when a trunk-through part is used.
The trunk-through seat consists of a seat cushion 1 and a seat back 2, and has a trunk-through part 7 in the cushion part. The cushion 1 is divided into right and left side parts 3, 4, and a central part 5 in which the upper surface is used as an armrest. The central part 5 can be pulled upward independently of the side parts 3, 4, thus a space used as the trunk-through part 7 is formed between the lower face of the central part 5 and a floor panel. There provided a holding mechanism holding the central part 5 in that state.
