Abstract:

To provide a trunk such that a fixing member for a handle can be utilized effectively.

A trunk includes: a trunk body (31); a lid (32) provided to be openable and closable relative to the trunk body (31); a handle (37) fixed to an outer portion of the trunk body (31) by a fixing member (38); and a locking mechanism (58) including a fixed locking piece (56) fixed to the lid (32), and a movable locking piece (55) which is movably provided on the trunk body (31) and which is engaged with and disengaged from the fixed locking piece (56) to thereby lock and unlock the lid (32). The fixing member (38) of the handle (37) is disposed inside the trunk body (31), and the fixing member (38) constitutes a guide body by which movement of the movable locking piece (55) is guided.
