Abstract:

To simplify the structure of a link mechanism and to decrease the occupied space around the inclined rotary shafts of trunnions by providing the link mechanism capable of synchronizing the displacement quantities and displacement directions of yokes and the trunnions.

Trunnions 1a, 1b are arranged face to face around a torque input shaft, and the inclined rotary shafts of the trunnions 1a, 1b are connected by yokes 2a, 2b respectively. Single-acting drive sections 4a, 4b generating driving force in the pushing direction only along the inclined rotary shaft are arranged at the end section of the inclined rotary shaft on one side of each trunnion to push and displace each trunnion in the inclined rotary shaft direction. A link mechanism capable of synchronizing the displacement quantities and displacement directions of the trunnions by the rotatable connection of the yoke 2a and a post 6 and the contact via bearings 7a, 7b on the side faces of the trunnions 1a, 1b is formed. A space for storing the link mechanism on the outside of the end faces of the inclined rotary shafts is not required.
