Abstract:
To provide a trunnion-type ball valve which can be easily assembled in a state that a fall of a spring for elastically energizing a ball seat in a direction of a ball valve body is prohibited.SOLUTION: A cap 11 is attached to one side or both sides of a body 10 to which a ball valve body 3 is rotatably attached by a stem 4, a seat retainer 5 attached to the cap is pressed from a back face side, and a ball seat 6 is sealed to the ball valve body. A coil spring 7 for elastically energizing in a direction of the ball valve body is attached to a back face side of the seat retainer. The coil spring is accommodated in a bottomed hole 30 which is formed at least at either of opposing faces of the seat retainer and the cap. An attachment groove 31 whose diameter is equal to or slightly smaller than an outside diameter of the coil spring is formed at the deepest part of the bottomed hole, and an end part side of the coil spring is fixed to the attachment groove by fitment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
