To provide a truss structure capable of improving the whole buckling strength, while restraining weight and manufacturing cost, without changing a shape of a bar-shaped member, in the truss structure of framing a triangle as the smallest basic structure on the bar-shaped member.
The effective slender ratio (L/iy) expressed by the ratio of the effective buckling length L to a minimum secondary ratio radius iy (a physical constant imparted by √(I/A) as a function of the cross-sectional area A of the bar-shaped member and the minimum secondary moment I of a cross section) of the cross section among the bar-shaped member, satisfies a range of 84≤L/iy≤250. At least one or more of bar-shaped members of receiving compressive force are composed of a steel member of molding a high Young's modulus steel plate having a Young's modulus in rolling direction being 215 GPa to 290 GPa. The high Young's modulus steel plate is formed by setting its rolling direction in the lengthwise direction of the bar-shaped member.
