Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami evacuation device constituted so that no large load is applied to a connection part between a floating island structure and a guide pole in a rotation direction due to a pressure of a tsunami, and the floating island structure floats smoothly while being guided by the guide pole when a tsunami comes.SOLUTION: A floating island structure has a hollow circular column shape, a space capable of accommodating a number of persons is formed on a top plate part, and a tubular part is formed penetrating the inner space thereof. Sea water is guided from a sea water intake port into a water storage body. A plurality of guiding rolling elements are provided on the side of the tubular part of the floating island structure, a curved surface of each guiding rolling element is brought into point contact with a peripheral surface of a guide pole, and the floating island structure is freely liftable and rotatable with respect to the guide pole.
