Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety of an evacuee sufficiently.SOLUTION: A tsunami refuge float 10 comprises: a floating body 12 floating by buoyant force of tsunami and storing an evacuee; a protection barrier 14 formed on the surroundings of the floating body 12 into a cylindrical shape so as to form a floating passage Q on which the floating body 12 floats; a floating body support part 16 for supporting the floating body 12 not floating by the buoyant force of tsunami at above a ground level G; a protection barrier support part 18 for supporting the protection barrier 14 at above the ground level; and tsunami passages 20 disposed below the floating body 12 and the protection barrier 14, and making the tsunami passing the ground level pass through. An internal space W of the protection barrier 14 communicates with the tsunami passages 20 via an opening 34 formed on a lower end part of the protection barrier 14.
