PURPOSE: To allow a photographer to know exposure results even if various kinds of flashlight devices are used, by discriminating and displaying whether an exposure at the time of photographing with a flashlight device at the side of a camera is suitable or not.
CONSTITUTION: When the emitting tube 301 of an electronic flashing device emits light, the rays of light reflected by an object reach the surface of a film and a part of the rays of light irregularly reflected at the film surface is made incident on a photodiode PD1. A current proportional to the photoelectric current of the diode PD1 is made to flow to a transistor Q1. Therefore, the voltage charging the capacitor C1 of a light quantity integrating circuit 102 becomes a value proportional to the exposure quantity to the film surface. The charging voltage of the capacitor C1 is compared with three reference values at a comparator 103. As a result, outputs cWe of comparators 4W6 respectively become high in level when an actual exposure quantity is smaller than an appropriate permissible lower limit value, reaches at appropriate value, and is larger than an appropriate permissible upper limit value. Output of the comparators 4 and 6 are inputted to an alarm display means 105 and LED1 or LED2 is blinked for a fixed time.
