Abstract:
To provide an intracorporeal placement tube that maintains appropriate rigidity during insertion and possesses flexibility following the bile duct after placement.SOLUTION: A tube body 1 is intended for insertion into a living body in combination with a delivery system. The tube body possesses a longitudinal axis and is formed in a substantially tubular shape with resin material along the longitudinal axis. The tube body has first rigidity against compressive force in the radial direction at the room temperature and second rigidity against the compressive force in the radial direction after soaking in 37-degree warm water for two hours. The second rigidity is more flexible than the first rigidity and a rigidity change rate is 50% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
