Title:
TUBE CLEANING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002316113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a tube cleaning tool which can remove various foreign matters generated in various kinds of tubes, without damage to films within the tubes.

Bristles of a nylon brush body 2 of a proper hardness are planted on the outer periphery of a cylindrical polyethylene core body 1 in a plurality of helical lines to forcibly scrape off foreign matters attached to the inside surface of a tube. An approximately semispherical push-out body 3 having an outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the tube is provided at the forward end of the core body 1. A plurality of spray holes 1A are formed through a side of the forward end of the body 1 to spray pressure waster on the inside surface of the tube from within the body 1. A flange-like urging part 4 with a diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the tube is provided at the rear end of the body 1. The bristles of the body 2 are planted densely so that each helical line of the bristles forms an approximately belt-like shape, thereby driving rotary forces for the brush body 2.
