To provide a tube container which can prevent a foil of a metallic luster layer from peeling from a container body, and a method of manufacturing the tube container with which such a tube container can be relatively simply manufactured.

The tube container 10 has a cylindrical container body 12 formed of a flexible sheet. A flowable cosmetic 19 is filled in the container body 12. A take-out port 16 is provided at one of ends 12b of the container body 12, wherein the container body 12 is pressed for taking the cosmetic 19 in the body 12 out of the take-out port 16. The tube container 10 has a metallic luster layer 18 placed on a surface 14 of the container body 12, and the luster layer 18 is covered with a flexible transparent resin layer 20 for protection.
