To provide a tube container for paints facilitating an opening or closing of a lid and capable of positively holding its air-tightness.

This tube container includes a container member 10 having an opening 16 and a lid member 11. The container member 10 and the lid member 11 are removable through a double-start screw or a triple flighted screw, and the opening 16 is closed by the lid member 11. A total contact angle of the container member 10 at a threaded part 5 under a state in which the lid member 11 is fixed is 120° to 400°. In addition, when the lid member 11 is fixed to the container member 10, there is provided a portion where a torque at the lid member is rapidly increased just before the lid member is completely closed. A rotating angle ranging from a part where the torque is rapidly increased to its complete closed state is set to 20° to 100°.
