Abstract:
To provide a tube cutter capable of simplifying a follow-up mechanism to tube feeding of a cutting tool and enabling high speed cutting for a tube.
This tube cutter is provided with a pair of rotatable spiral cutting tools 1,10 disposed on the upper and lower sides of a fed tube 12, and a pair of rotatable cams for vertically rocking the paired cutting tools. The cutting tools and the tube have positional relationship such that according to the lead angle, the cutting tools enter at right angles to the tube, and the lead feed speed of the cutting tools and the tube feed speed are the same. The paired spiral cutting tools are rotated in the reverse directions to each other.
