Abstract:
To reduce a tube end in a prescribed external dimension without generating a defective shape of spreading, etc.
A tube end is pushed in a reduction hole 3 having an internal diameter as same as the reduction objective value making a taper like inlet hole 2 of a die 1 as the guide, further the tube end is pushed in a taper like correcting hole 4 having an internal diameter smaller than the reduction target value and it is reduced into a smaller external dimension than the reduction objective value. Next, the internal wall of tube end is executed with ironing with an ironing part 5 of an ironing core metal 6 positioned at the inside of the tube end, the tube end is expanded and the external dimension is made in the reduction objective value.
