PURPOSE: To provide the subject tube wherein the tube main body has excellent bending R resistance and durability on repeated bending and the inner face of the tube main body is smooth and inserting of a treating tool and workability of washing and disinfection are improved.

CONSTITUTION: A tube main body for an endoscope is formed of a flexible inner layer tube 2 made of a fluororesin material and a flexible outer layer tube 3 which is tightly adhered with the outer peripheral face of this inner layer tube and consists of a composite which consists of a fluororesin material as a base material and a polyimide resin material.
