Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity (production speed) by rapidly handling various tube lengths in the manufacturing method of a tube which has a plurality of pieces of protruding portion (dimple) protruding inward and has portions without a protruding portion at least at both ends in the longitudinal direction.
SOLUTION: A protruding portion 110b is continuously formed by rolling linked with charging a strip-type work W as raw material for tube and the work W is flattened by crushing a protruding portion 110b of a required part (a part corresponding to a tank insertion part). By doing this, the protruding portion 110b is continuously formed while continuously charging the work W, and also various tube lengths 110 are handled without changing protrusion forming rolls 211, 212. Thus, the productivity (production speed) is enhanced while rapidly handling various tube lengths.
