PURPOSE: To obtain a tube for medical use excellent in flexibility, transparency and safety by forming a fluoride film of a specific mean thickness on the inner surface of a plastic tube.

CONSTITUTION: A tube 1 for medical use is made of plastic such as polyvinyl chloride having a specific wall thickness. A fluoride film 4 is provided on the entire inner surface 3 of the tube 1. The fluoride film 4 is 0.1-100μm in the mean thickness, preferably 1-10μm. As a result, the tube does not absorb oil- soluble medicaments such as nitroglycerin or diazapam. Convenience associated with the use of the tube for the medical use such as flexibility, transparency, etc. are not affected either.
