To provide a tube member for constituting a runner which can efficiently manufacture and can integrally form by inserting a strainer.

Since a T type tube member 10 as the tube member for constituting the runner is manufactured by press-forming a material of clay refractory to shape the divided forming bodies 1a, 1b having the shape dividing the T type tube member 10 and burning after sticking these divided bodies and integrally forming, the T type tube member can efficiently be manufactured and the mass-production thereof can be obtained. Further, since the tube member is formed by sticking the divided forming bodies 1a, 1b, the tube member can integrally be formed by fitting the strainer to a suitably necessary position. Furthermore, since the sticking is performed by engaging a projecting line 3 with a recessing line 4 formed on respective joining surfaces 2a, 2b of the divided forming bodies 1a, 1b, a misalignment can be prevented when the sticking is performed, and also, the stuck strength can be improved.
