Abstract:
To provide a tube mill with excellent pulverization efficiency, and an operation method thereof.SOLUTION: A dry closed circuit multi-chamber tube mill is provided, in which a mill can body 2 is constituted of: a mill first chamber 3 which produces pulverized coarse particles 53 by rough pulverization of a new raw material 51; a mill second chamber 4 which produces pulverized fine particles 54 by finely pulverizing the pulverized coarse particles 53; and an intermediate chamber 5 which transfers the pulverized coarse particles 53 from a mill third chamber 3 to the mill second chamber 4, the dry closed circuit multi-chamber tube mill classifies, by a separator 6, the pulverized fine particles 54 produced in the mill second chamber 4 and recovers classified fine powders 55, as a product, and returns classified rough powders 56 to the mill can body 2 and pulverizes the classified rough powders 56 again. In the tube mill, a distributor 8 which distributes and returns the classified rough powders 56 from the separator 6 to the mill third chamber 4 and the mill second chamber 3, is provided and a distribution ratio thereof is controlled depending on operational condition of the mill first chamber 3, and a classified rough powder returning/inputting device 10, which includes an automatic opening/closing valve 30 for introducing total amount or most of classified rough powders 56 into the intermediate chamber 5 as a main constituent, is provided in a mill can body outer circumference of the intermediate chamber 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
