Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by forming an automobile heat exchanger distributing tank, wherein two main tubes having many branched tubes are connected in parallel, by plastic working from a single metallic plate.
SOLUTION: Drawing is applied to a metallic plate, a group of branched tubes lined up in two lines is expanded on the surface side of the metallic plate, a apical end part is hollowed out, burring is applied, and the branched tubes 4 having a prescribed dimension and shape are formed. Next, the facing interval between the group of the branched tubes 4 lined up in two lines is narrowed into a prescribed width, bending which increases a wall thickness of the part is applied, and a thick wall part (c) protruded like a projected shape is provided on the rear surface of the metallic plate. Successively, both edge parts in the width direction of the metallic plate are joggled to form the step parts (d) in level, the width dimension of the steps in level is set by trimming, and fitting groove 10 in the step parts (d) in level is openly provided in the central part of the thick wall part (c) by beading. Thereafter, the metallic plate is rounded toward the rear side to form tubes 2, 3, and the step parts (d) in level of both ends are superposed and fit into the fitting groove 10. Thereafter, a partitioned place is buckled, a plug and a joint in an inlet and outlet are attached, and a required place is brazed.
