To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material which can be appropriately used for a golf club shaft, etc., and has high torsional strength.
A tubular body made of the fiber-reinforced composite material, which is constituted by laminating a plurality of fiber-reinforced composite material layers, comprises a bias layer, in which a direction of a reinforced fiber makes an angle of 25-65 degrees with respect to a principal axis of the tubular body, and a straight layer which is constituted by lamination on the side of an outer periphery of the bias layer and in which the direction of the reinforced fiber makes an angle of 0-20 degrees with respect to the principal axis of the tubular body; a matrix resin content of the bias layer and that of the straight layer are in a range of 13 wt.% or more and 30 wt.% or less; and a glass transition temperature Tg(°C) of the fiber-reinforced composite material, which is obtained by curing at 130°C for two hours and constitutes the bias layer and the straight layer, and an elastic modulus G'r (MPa) of a rubber state satisfy specific expressions (1) and (2): 70°C≤Tg≤130°C and 50 MPa≤G'r≤170 MPa.
