PURPOSE: To burn deposit accumulated on a filter without damaging it and replace only one of the filters which require replacement easily when a heating material or filters which constitute a filter device must be replaced.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular fnlter unit 1 comprises a tubular filter 2 structured with cylindrical fabric of heat-resistant fiber and a heater as a heating element arranged in non-connecting condition along the inner surface of the tubular filter 2. In the tubular filter unit 1, a clogging member and a supporting member with exhaust gas inlet port are fitted closely to a first and second ends of it, respectively to use the filter under the condition that a fluid to be filtrated passes from the inside to the outside. When a considerable amount of deposit is accumulated on the tubular filter 2, a heater 3 is energized to burn the deposit for removal.
