Title:
TUBULAR MEMBER MADE OF FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3508429
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the torsional strength of a tubular member made of fiber reinforced plastic without almost increasing a wt. or cost by providing a part specified in the winding number of times of reinforcing fibers in a bias layer wherein the winding angle of reinforcing fibers to the main axis of the tubular member is within a specific range.
SOLUTION: A tubular member has parts wherein the winding angle of reinforcing fibers to the main axis of the tubular member is within a range of 20-75°, that is, bias layers 1, 2. The winding angle of the reinforcing fibers to the main axis means the absolute value of the angle formed by the plane containing the main axis and the reinforcing fibers passing the plane. This tubular member has a part wherein the winding numbers of time of the reinforcing fibers of the bias layers 1, 2 becomes (m+m/10) (wherein m is a positive integer of 9 or less). Further, the tubular member has a part wherein the winding number of times of the reinforcing fibers of the bias layers 1, 2 becomes a range of (n+0.1)-(n+0.4). By this constitution, differences 3, 4 in level can be dispersed.
