PURPOSE: To obtain a tubular multilayer woven fabric having no each tubular woven fabric on the end, fraying no yarn on the end and holding no frayed yarn in a mold when a composite material is formed as a reinforcing material.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular multilayer woven fabric 1 is constituted by superposing plural layers of tubular woven fabric 3 obtained by weaving weft 4 and warp 5 and on the one end of a tubular woven fabric 3 other than outermost layer, the above-mentioned weft 4 is folded on the outside and continued to weft 4 of the tubular woven fabric 3 adjacent to the outside of the tubular woven fabric 3. The tubular multilayer woven fabric 1 is produced by arranging a tubular core body 2 in the central part of a ring-like loom 6, forming tubular woven fabric 3 in the surface while advancing the core body 2 in the axial direction, reversing advancing direction of the above-mentioned core body 2 after weaving by prescribed length and forming new tubular woven fabric 3 in the surface of the tubular woven fabric 3 and repeating the above-mentioned processes by prescribed times.
