A laminate is used as a material of a lid body 2, a bottom body 3 and a body part 1 constituting the container, and the laminate comprises a paper layer having a heat-seal layer on the surface thereof as a substrate. At least a vapor deposition film comprising an inorganic oxide is disposed as a gas barrier material inside the substrate, and a heat seal layer is provided inside of the gas barrier material. The tubular paper container comprises the body part 1 made by applying an edge protecting work to the laminate and forming the laminate into a tube and the lid bod 2 and the bottom body. The four corners of the container are rounded to a radius of 10 mm.
