PURPOSE: To provide structure of tubular pile having sufficient strength and efficient welding properties.

CONSTITUTION: A weight 30 is inserted in tubular pile with closed bottom 31 and is caused to move up and down by any proper means so that it may hammer the bottom 32 inside pile 31. In tubular pile 31 used under pile driving work, plural number of connection pieces 36 protruding longitudinally from the upper edge of pile are fixed beforehand on the upper edge of pile. Then external circumferential surface of another pile 31 is welded to the upper edge and side edge of connection piece 36, so that pile 31 is connected.
