Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the title small-sized reactor facilitated in the temperature control for exothermic reaction, equipped with such plural quenching nozzles that the reaction tube of the reactor can blow gas or liquid lower in temperature than the inner fluid with the blowing positions serving as reaction zone in the reaction tube.
CONSTITUTION: In a tubular reactor to make a hydrogenolysis of heavy oil using a slurry catalyst, such quenching nozzles 5-1 to 5-3 that the reaction tube 2 constituting the reactor 1 can blow gas or liquid lower in temperature than the fluid in the tube 2 are plurally equipped from the inlet 3 side to the outlet 4 side of the reactor 1 so as to be oriented toward the center of the reaction tube 2, and the blowing positions for these nozzles are located at reaction zone where the fluid temperature is higher than a set temperature in the reaction tube 2 and a nozzle port 6 is provided so as to enable a fluid to be blown in a parallel or counter flow fashion relative to the fluid in the reaction tube 2 at its center, thereby facilitating the temperature control for exothermic reaction and carrying out the hydrogenolysis of the heavy oil.
