Title:
TUCK HOLDING-DOWN DEVICE FOR TROUSER FINISHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005143717
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a tuck to be fixed by utilizing a pressing force by a manual operation, to reduce the cost of parts by eliminating an air cylinder, and also, to reduce the assembling cost and the manufacturing cost.

This tuck holding-down device for a trouser finishing machine is formed by providing an approximately L-shaped arm member 5, a tuck holding-down member 6 which is provided on the lower end of the arm member 5, an L-shaped handle 7 which is provided into a hook-shape along the bent shape of the arm member 5 on the external side of the arm member 5, and a controlling mechanism 8 which makes the tuck holding-down member 6 approach/separate from a tuck 1b by the manual operation of the handle 7. When the lower end of the handle 7 is pressed, a crank member 81 is folded into an accordion form, a front arm member 52 turns to a setting plate 3 side with a pivot shaft 53 as the center by the restoring force of a compression spring 84, and the tuck holding-down member 6 is pressed to the tuck 1b. Also, when the crank member 81 is pulled up by pulling the lower end of the handle 7, a tension spring 83 works, and the lower end of the front arm member 52 turns in a manner to separate from the setting plate 3 with the pivot shaft 53 as the center, and the pressed state of the tuck 1b is released.
